I first thought, Hamilton would again, do a great job hold on Vettel, but Sebastian passed him a little bit after Eau Rouge, in Kemmel straight.
Kimi lost 2 positions and found himself in P10.
McLaren did another struggling race with Button gaining a few position in the first lap but then losing them and with Checo in P11 who would bounce back to overtake Grosjean.
Vettel would start building a 4 second gap.
I was surprised by van der Garde's 13th grid place but he would unfortunately lose 5 positions to be in P18.
When Vettel overtook Hamilton, I expected him to build a big lead on him but Hamilton would maintain the pace and keep the gap in 4.3s.
Sergio Perez would receive a drive-through penalty moments after he overtook Grosjean in the Kemmel straight, it looks like he got him out of the track but I didn't see many things wrong in that.
In lap 14 Alonso and Webber would box. This would leave Kimi on P3.
Vettel and Kimi would stop in lap 15 which would bring Button to the lead but Vettel would get the lead back easily.
Grosjean found himself in P6 in lap 19 but he hadn't boxed yet.
Vettel would build a 7-second lead with Alonso.
Grosjean then would start falling off the pace and Button would overtake him. A great stint by him getting 22 laps out of two pairs of used medium tyres.
Vettel started to secure the win with a strong 8 second gap on Alonso.
Then, a disgrace would happen as Kimi Räikkönen would have to retire due to brake problems he had throughout the whole race.
In lap 29 there would be an incident between Maldonado and diResta, Maldonado would only suffer front wing damage but diResta would retire.
Vettel would make his 2nd pit stop in lap 31, but he would still hold the lead on Alonso.
Button's 1-stop strategy would end as he boxed again in lap 35 falling back to P6.
Ricciardo would overtake Perez, who had hard tyres, in lap 41. This, clearly, could have been avoided if Checo hadn't receive that unfair drive-through.
Sebastian Vettel would arrive, to a big win in Spa, great race by him. Alonso and Hamilton wrapped up the podium.
This was a very unfortunate race, because of Kimi's incident and his point scoring streak coming to an end.
This result would make Kimi fall to 4th place in Drivers' Championship with Alonso and Hamilton going up to 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Predictions:
1-HAM 1-VET
2-RAI 2-ALO
3-VET 3-HAM none right though...
